Of course, if you've been in the market to buy for a little while, you begin to appreciate that the word 'compromise' begins to take on a more and more important role in the whole buying process. Well, we would like to suggest that No.5 Redstone Rise would dispel or at least minimise that 'compromise' issue. That's just our objective view, however we sense that the accommodation, the plot size, the specification of the interior and in particular the location (it's always down to location) allows for most, if not all of the main category of tick boxes to be, well, ticked. .. all for the same reasons our client bought just three years ago - now however you can appreciate the further injection of new features that combined make this a rather special of special 'show houses'......

So what of its position and location. Tucked up at the top and over on the left hand side of this small development of Redstone Rise lies the house with the biggest garden plot; a selection of photos of which you'll see throughout our slide show of photos. Mature, well manicured gardens wrap around the house to the south east, south and south west, in substantial proportions. Fair to say too, that this beautiful, much larger than expected garden plot comes with a considerable amount of privacy too.

Location wise; access for travel, work, schools: well all very accessible. Free parking at Bidston or Park North Station for trains to Liverpool or Chester; or the motorway spur at Bidston for the tunnel and to either or of the same destinations. Birkenhead School, BHSA, St Anselm's and Birkenhead Sixth Form College are but a couple of minutes, tops, by car. So, all of this huge convenience and dare we say, on the door step? Yet Redstone Rise is so exquisitely tucked away.....

Next accommodation. Bright, double fronted accommodation with little extra and above what you'd normally expect from a 'modern' home, or what you would get from a 'new build', and that's in addition to this fab garden plot of course. Like the size of the utility room, a room which has very useful covered access to an outside drying area that also leads on to what was the double garage which is now the games room.

The other extras that impressed were that of the both bathrooms. Both really good sizes; generous space given to an en suite is often overlooked. Here we have plenty, and one of the latest, most recent improvements is the refurbishment of both.

Indeed over the last two years, additional improvements, other than a hugely attractive range of stylish and generally neutral decor, include a full pvc double glazing system, including new security composite doors, (although the exception are the existing pvc windows within the games room).

Smart new internal doors were part of the 'upgrade', so too, just 18 months ago, was the installation of a selection of rather smart wardrobe furniture to bedrooms No.1 & 2. New pvc soffits and barge boards were added during the window system installation.

And given the high spec finish throughout, together with the mix of sensibly proportioned family rooms ( two impressive reception rooms, study/kids tv room - and of course the games room), make for a particularly luxurious and comfortable home.

The study/tv room we've actually labelled as the 'snug' in our floor plan below. Whatever you class it as, it is a pleasant retreat or an easy room to keep an eye on the young ones as you go about in the kitchen. And given the size of the kitchen, along with its solid granite work surfaces and breakfast bar, these room are likely to become the day to day hub of the house. Having said that, the through living room and generously sized dining room are there to enjoy.

Returning to the garden plot. Of course, you could Google map the cul de sac and the specific plot. However what we recommend you do is then compare the size of this generous plot to all the garden plots of all the new houses built within the last, say, three years: then you really will begin to appreciate what good value for money No.5 represents; particularly given the very high spec of accommodation that lies within.
