The hut has a great lay-out being set up over three floors. A stable door leads into the kitchen area which is on the middle level with a range of base level units. There is a Parkinson Cowan Classic oven with 4-ring gas hob and grill and ceramic sink with mixer tap. The double glazed large window enjoys views towards the sea. From this level steps go down to the main living area.

The main living area comprises a U-shaped seating area which enjoys fantastic views across Christchurch Harbour through the bi-fold double glazed doors. There is ample under seat storage and this area also converts to a double bed, an extra large seating area that would sleep 3 people comfortably. From this area steps go back up into the kitchen area.

From the kitchen area, steps with balustrade go back up to a mezzanine sleeping area having a double mattress but could actually sleep a 3rd person if required. Unlike most huts the stairs going up to the mezzanine are very sturdy with 2 handrails and a gentle incline with wide full treads which is a real feature and very unusual in huts on the Spit making this a very safe and easy area to access for old and young alike. Feature triangular window with great views across Christchurch Harbour. 

The bi-fold doors from the main living area lead to a decked area measuring 10' x 5'5" (3.05m x 1.65m) giving plenty of space for a table and chairs.

To the rear of the hut is a wide outside storage cupboard which is useful for the storage of gas bottles.

Mudeford Sand Spit is easily accessed on foot or via the Land Train from Hengistbury Head or via a ferry from Mudeford Quay. There is plenty of car parking available in both locations.
