For many years we had driven past this property and always commented on what a beautiful house it was, and wouldn’t it be nice to live there. We could not believe our good fortune when twenty seven years ago it came onto the market and we were in a position to purchase it!
What was even more delightful was the fact that it had everything that we were looking for in our next home; a large garden, two dining areas, two bathrooms, a sun room and four bedrooms.
For us it was the perfect family home and we have lived life to the full here with parties, weddings (including a marquee in the garden), christenings and other family occasions. In fact the local taxi drivers call it the party house! It is perfect for entertaining, especially at Christmas with ample room for all our family and friends.
As time has gone on our children have followed their careers and settled on the mainland, and now we have young grandchildren we feel the time is right to move closer to them there.
We feel privileged to have lived in this lovely house and we are sure its new owners will be just as happy as us to live here.
