But you'll notice we have taken a number of window shots. That's because at both ground and first floor there are a selection of bay and picture windows that, whilst modern and in pvc, have a lead light effect, presumably to replicate the original, and which add a really nice touch to the house in general. So not just a lot of space but comfortable with it. And that comfort is underpinned by the multi fuel burner found in the main living room. One really attractive room.

And to upstairs, pass by one more feature window and to the main landing. And it is from the hall, stairs and landing areas most that the Arts & Craft design of the house is the most prevalent, here and in the master bedroom which you'll find at the top of the house.

So there are five bedrooms in all. Four excellent double bedrooms, one larger single sized rooms with the first floor being serviced by a huge, and for that, luxurious bathroom with modern four piece bathroom suite. The most charming of top floor bedrooms has a full en suite shower room and adjoining dressing room.

On the practical side there is plenty of storage around the house too. From the two store cupboards on the half landing to the eaves of the top floor dressing room. Then there is a separate cloak room and a utility room which connects to the large garage.

Of course the best advantage of the views to this private garden are from either the new bi-folds from the kitchen or from the Orangery, space that's been used for a multiple of purposes by this family of five. The garden sweeps around from the south side to the west (see photo of log pile) and we would say is certainly a generous plot for Oxton Village and proportionate to the house. Off road parking to the garage is over to the left hand side of The Whitehouse, facing the property, and there's an attractive front lawn area and central pedestrian path to the prettiest of entrances - from where you will start your tour....
