Full description

A deceptively spacious three bedroom stone faced linked semi-detached property with private rear patio and garage located in the centre of the dales village of Langcliffe.

5 Howsons Lane is a spacious property located in the ever popular village of Langcliffe. Internally the property requires some cosmetic decoration. The property does have double glazed windows throughout and gas central heating. It could be a superb lock up and leave holiday home but would be equally suitable as a full time residence or an investment property due to its location. The property briefly comprises panelled timber entrance door into hall with stairs to first floor and doors to sitting room and kitchen. The sitting room is a double aspect room and has a stone fireplace with niche, timber mantelshelf and open fire. The dining kitchen is again double aspect and is fitted with a range of wall and base units with inset stainless steel sink, integral electric oven and hob. There is space for a fridge/freezer and plumbing for a washing machine. To the first floor there are two generous size double bedrooms, a good size single bedroom and house bathroom with separate wc. Externally there is a gravelled driveway leading to Garage with up and over door having light, power and water. Central heating boiler. The front of the property has dry stone boundary walling with lawned area and shrub borders. There is a wrought iron pedestrian gate with paved pathway to front entrance. To the rear is a large paved patio with steps leading to an access door to the garage and a pedestrian access gate to the rear of the property.

Langcliffe village is located on the edge of the Dales market town of Settle which borders the Yorkshire Dales National Park and offers a varied range of amenities including a bustling market place with a 'Tuesday' market, railway station on the famous Settle to Carlisle line, schools including primary, high school and college and a public school in the neighbouring town of Giggleswick. Settle also has a swimming pool, medical centre, golf course and a varied range of recreational facilities.

From Settle town centre proceed along Church Street in the direction of Giggleswick. Turn right onto the B6479 just before reaching the river bridge, signposted Horton-in-Ribblesdale. Proceed for approximately 1/4 mile passing the Watershed Mill Craft Centre and take the first turn right into the village of Langcliffe. Follow the road to the centre of the village at the village green on the left turn left into Howsons Lane and number 5 will be found on the right hand side. A sign board is erected.
