Full description

Tenure: Leasehold

Here we have available a lovely one bedroom, first floor retirement apartment for the over 60's, situated in a very popular complex, close to Waterlooville centre.

The complex always proves to be popular and we are always told what a happy place it has been for people to live in, with a community spirit that makes the apartments ideal for when the time comes to down size and perhaps move closer to family in the area.

Sometimes it can be very difficult to move to a smaller home in later life but this one bedroom apartment is very spacious for this type of property. You can sit in your lounge area, overlooking the well kept communal gardens and resident parking area.

The apartment has recently has a new kitchen fitted along with new carpets and decor meaning the next owners can move straight in without any work to be done.

Residents of Homewater House benefit from the use of a communal lounge and a guest bedroom, which can be hired out for visitors and a communal garden. There are regular coffee mornings arranged too.

Situated in a convenient location close to the town centre, with a post office, bakery and pub. There is a frequent bus service to Portsmouth, Petersfield and surrounding area..

Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances.

What the Owner says:

My dad was very happy here, the community aspect that Homewater House offers is great, particularly for people living on their own you never feel alone.

Its nice that you can dip in and out of the social side of things as and when you want. The great thing about these particular types of retirement properties is knowing that there is the security of the emergency call system but you still retain your independence. Not only is there the emergency call system but there is a supportive community and a house manager for peace of mind.

The location is great being just a short stroll from Waterlooville centre.
