Full description

Two thirds of a mile of prolific single bank Salmon and Sea Trout fishing rights on the picturesque River Feugh on Royal Deeside

The Water of Feugh is the largest tributary to the River Dee. It rises in the Grampian Mountains, in the Forest of Birse and has a particularly scenic aspect in a series of cascades at the Bridge of Feugh. This tributary of the Dee forms a confluence at Banchory. This is a spate river and sea trout and brown trout are also caught here.

Subjects of Sale

The beat extends to two-thirds of a mile or thereby of right bank fishing on the River Feugh. The fishings have been improved in recent years and the catch records are detailed below. Works have been undertaken to cut back some of the overgrown trees. There are a number of pools on the beat which provide good fishing locations.

Rights to use the car park and footpath are included in the subjects of sale. The footpath at present, has been incorporated into the field, and is very rough, but is detailed on the location plan.

It is understood that the current owners of the river bank retain the rights to fish for brown trout.
