Polruan is a historic fishing village on the south side of Fowey Harbour entrance, with two pubs, a shop, village hall, primary school and thriving boatbuilders and a wonderful sense of community. These full height windows not only provide uninterrupted views of the estuary and Fowey beyond, but also slide open to give access to a recently installed aluminium and glass balcony. This in itself is a wonderful facility which offers the facility to sit out at any time of the day or night, "and watch the world go by". The balcony runs across the full width of the house.
Tommy's has a waterside terrace which is linked to the foreshore by gated steps. At high tide, visitors can arrive at the terrace by boat, while at low tide access can be taken to the sandy/shingle beach below the property for a short walk to the village and pubs. Tommy's also has a private running/outhaul mooring.

West Street is accessible to small cars only. Parking can be found at the top of the village in St Saviour's Hill, although if visiting from Fowey it may be preferable to park in Fowey and take the foot ferry across the water.
On West Street, turn left (if facing the water) and walk approximately 120m along the road with the harbour on your right, where you will find steps down to the right, leading to Tommy's.
