Directions From Ripon proceed on the A61 eastwards and then just before the sign post to Melmerby turn right at the signpost for Rainton, proceed along this road over the A1 and follow this road into Sleights Lane and into the village of Rainton take the first turning left into Back Lane, go past the modern bungalow on the right hand side and the barn conversion is the next property on the right hand side.
From the A1(M) come off at the sign post for Thirsk and Teeside from the roundabout follow the sign into Rainton, go right into the centre of the village and turn left proceed along Sleights Lane, Back Lane is on the right hand side, proceed as above.
