Full description

12 Watersedge sits on the bank of the most secluded lake at Stonerush Lakes and is surrounded by an abundance of evergreen shrubs and foliage offering seclusion in this very peaceful setting.

The lodge has a contemporary interior in a country setting and comes with two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. Its extended floor area makes the internal living space perfect for entertaining or just sitting and watching the abundant wildlife. The living room and the main bedroom open out on to the decking which extends the whole length of the lodge that over hangs the lake. When the patio doors are open you can imagine you are on a house boat. The lodge is filled with high quality fixtures and fittings such as natural unstained cedar cladding, sheep wool insulation, engineered timber windows, oak plank floors, wool carpets, oak doors, stainless steel kitchen appliances and oak block worktops. The central heating is a gas fired condensing combi-boiler.

Throughout there are light enhancing floor to ceiling picture windows and vaulted ceilings. The paneled walls are painted in colours which not only reflect the light but maximise the feeling of space. This luxurious lodge also comes with a full lettings furniture package and a hot tub an ideal way to wind down after a busy day on the local beaches.

Whether lounging aboard the large decking, sitting in the hot tub, or gazing through the windows from the comfort of a sofa there couldn't be a more perfect place to soak in the relaxing beauty of the surroundings.

Stonerush Lakes is a secluded holiday lodge retreat lying within a beautiful hidden valley with three lakes and a mill pond that is centered round a converted Old Mill. It is accessed down a small lane from the B3359. Originally it was a corn mill and today the redundant mill on Miller's Lake provides a haven and refuge in the manner of an old hunting lodge for residents only. There are sumptuous leather sofas by a roaring log fire intended as a place in which to relax whilst reading a newspaper with a piping hot coffee. A small bistro serves light dishes fashioned from the finest local ingredients served on a very informal basis.

A small stream meanders from the Mill building from where Kingfishers, Mallard duck, Moorhens which are some of the varied wildlife are often seen.

The idyllic town of Fowey, which is home to one of the finest harbours in the country, is approx. 15 mins drive away with Looe and its sandy beach even closer. The picturesque village of Polperro also 5 miles away, is the archetypal Cornish fishing village. Talland Bay can be found 6 miles away and provides three small sandy beaches flanked by a rocky foreshore.

12 Watersedge makes an ideal second home or an investment opportunity.

120 year licence remaining
