Full description

Tenure: Freehold

Set along a leafy lane in a semi rural location on the outskirts of the village, is this totally unique 4 bedroom detached family home. As you sweep onto the drive you are welcomed by the double width garage and the double gates that lead to an extensive concrete yard, leading to several outbuildings.

A huge feature of the home is the amazing arrangement of outbuildings, offering options for working from home, hobbies and storage. The true character of the property stands out as you walk through the well planted gardens, containing many different areas giving you somewhere to relax at the end of the day. As you walk out of the main garden you will find a further field area with its own summer house and stable.

With the size of the plot and the superb variety of outbuildings, there is lots of potential to make changes and improvements, subject to obtaining the necessary planning permissions. There is also storage and business premises permission for a concrete yard, increasing the possibilities of this home further.

In recent years there has been further development on Crowhurst Lane and with this property being 2.39 acres in size, there is a possibility of similar development (subject to planning permission) which would be ideal for developers.

What the Owner says:

This has been our family home for many years and we have all enjoyed the feeling of space, both inside the house and in the gardens. We can all find somewhere to relax and unwind in the gardens, with so many different areas and varieties of planting.

In years gone by the miniature railway has created many memories, passing through the garden and even including a tunnel and a footbridge. Although the railway would need extensive renovation, it is a lovely piece of history and adds to the fun feeling of the home. You will never run out of things to do with so many outbuildings, workshops, a summerhouse and even a very large greenhouse.
