Located in one of Looe’s finest residential areas, this 4 bedroom house with elevated ocean views over the areas of Kellow and Plaidy has been extensively updated by the current owners. The house, built in 1990 offers accommodation of generous proportion over split levels. Ocean views are enjoyed from the entire front of the house with two balconies off the dining and living room fully appreciating the best of the views.
This imposing property is nestled into the hill amongst its own grounds with a private rear garden, complete with summerhouse and patio area. To the front, bordered by matured bushes giving the property a private off-road access, a sloped driveway leads to the hard standing parking and entrance to the garage.

The property itself is split over 3 levels and comprises of imposing entrance hall and two main bedrooms to the ground floor, both with en suite shower rooms. To the next level, a third bedroom, family bathroom and utility room offering access to the rear garden. Then a formal living room, kitchen, diner and snug room make up the top floor of the property. The snug room can also double up as bedroom four.
There is access to a balcony off the dining area, then from the living room a larger covered veranda perfect for sitting out to enjoy al fresco dining. When sunny, giving the feeling of Mediterranean style living. Both balconies enjoy the open views over the coastline and Plaidy.

The rear garden is laid to lawn with views over the coastline and Looe Island. There is a decked summerhouse with an electric supply and two patio areas, both in elevated positions appreciating the views. There is also a further patio area off the utility room, and a side garden which is currently laid to lawn. The majority of the front is made up of mature bushes and shrubs giving the property privacy off road.
The property previously had planning permission granted for an extension over the garage of which the current owners were going to make use as a holiday let business. Due to time, this has now lapsed.

Situated in the highly desired area of Plaidy, Looe, there is access to Plaidy’s private beach, a small, dog friendly, sandy beach, with rock pools. This is just a short walk from the property. The coastal path runs through Plaidy between Millendreath and Looe, where you will find an array of shops and cafes. Just a short distance from Plaidy, there are the local Primary and Secondary Schools, convenience shops and a bus stop.

Looe is a small coastal town with a working fishing port. The town is set in a valley, separated in two by the River Looe. It is made up of a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants leading down to the seafront with a sandy beach and the Banjo Pier. To the West side of Looe offshore lays St Georges Island, which is a prominent feature on the landscape view from the garden at Highgrove.
Looe is famous for its food with its fish market where you can buy local produce and you will find many eateries in the town serve up award winning fare from fish and chips near the river to gourmet menus in restaurants overlooking the harbour.
There is a Golf Club approx. 3.5 miles from the property and a tennis court in West Looe, as well as the Looe Sailing Club and Looe Rowing Club.
There is a train connection from Looe which takes you along the Looe Valley Line to the local town of Liskeard, where there is a main line to London Paddington.
