The Vendor's View - We bought this property as a new build back in 2001 and therefore had some input on the finishing touches and some of the layout. We really liked the size of this spacious 5 bed property, as a family with two young girls that also allowed space for us to have an office. We were also impressed with its generous garden, which we have put a lot of work into over the last 16 years.

Our favourite room is probably the kitchen, which is the hub of the house. This large space is ideal for entertaining with French doors through to the lounge and also out into the decking in the garden. The granite-topped island makes it a really easy place to cook and we have had many happy family meals and social events in here over the years, including our own karaoke parties!

The location here is great, within a 10 minute walk of all the amenities you could need. There are 3 schools locally and the seafront is very close by, along with the old town; full of quaint independent shops and places to eat.. We have enjoyed being able to walk down to some of the lovely restaurants, including The Ambrette and The Sands Hotel.

There is plenty to do in the local area, but in honesty we mostly spend our time in our beautiful south-facing garden, which is very special to us. We have designed the garden to have separate sections to be enjoyed throughout the day. In the mornings it’s lovely to sit on the bench in the corner with a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise; the decking is the ideal place for a barbecue in the sunshine; and further down the garden is an Indian sandstone area with grapes growing, which is a lovely place to sit in the evening with a bottle of wine.

This house has been a very spacious family home that was perfect for family life when we needed it.
