This property is offered at a reduced price for people aged over 60 through Homewise’s Home for Life Plan. Through the Home for Life Plan, anyone aged over sixty can purchase a lifetime lease on this property which discounts the price from its full market value. The size of the discount you are entitled to depends on your age, personal circumstances and property criteria and could be anywhere between 8.5% and 59% from the property’s full market value. The above price is for guidance only. It is based on our average discount and would be the estimated price payable by a 69-year-old single male. As such, the price you would pay could be higher or lower than this figure.

Nestled behind a mature and established garden this beautifully presented bungalow offers a lot more than you would initially imagine. Tucked away in a sought-after village the bungalow is a real treat and has an extremely peaceful and tranquil garden for those looking for a quieter lifestyle with a country feel.

It is easy to see why the current owners snapped it up many years ago. Pull up on the large driveway and step inside the practical porch and then into the spacious entrance hall. You will soon realise that there is more to this property than meets the eye. The kitchen is lovely and bright and overlooks the large garden at the back and the lounge area with its own dining area gives you plenty of space to transform this room into the perfect place for entertaining. Snuggle up in front of the multi fuel burner and relax with a good book or the latest box set; this has to be the best place to see out a winter storm and the dogs will love it too! The 3 bedrooms continue the spacious theme with a rear extension providing bedroom 1 with glorious views over the garden.

Outside there is plenty to keep the keenest of gardeners busy all year round with well-established shrubs, hedges and bushes. Sit out on the patio and soak up the sun from the sunny aspect before exploring the secret garden hidden from view which the grandchildren are sure to hunt out.

This lovely property really does epitomise country living and offers so much to buyers which is why it is sure to be a popular choice.

What the Owner says:

We moved to this bungalow around 10 years ago and have enjoyed life in the village. It is really quiet here and you can get into Niton or Ventnor very easily. Since moving in we have improved the property with new double glazing, new flat roofs on the extensions and we have worked hard in the gardens to make them a tranquil place to relax. Inside the bungalow there is plenty of storage and the garage has been altered to make a mezzanine level above to give even more places to store belongings. We were surprised by the spacious accommodation the property offers as from outside it really does not look very big but once inside everyone is surprised by how much room there is. We are only selling to be closer to our family on the mainland.
