This property is offered at a reduced price for people aged over 60 through Homewise’s Home for Life Plan. Through the Home for Life Plan, anyone aged over sixty can purchase a lifetime lease on this property which discounts the price from its full market value. The size of the discount you are entitled to depends on your age, personal circumstances and property criteria and could be anywhere between 8.5% and 59% from the property’s full market value. The above price is for guidance only. It is based on our average discount and would be the estimated price payable by a 69-year-old single male. As such, the price you would pay could be higher or lower than this figure.

For more information or a personalised quote, just give us a call. Alternatively, if you are under 60 or would like to purchase this property without a Home for Life Plan at its full market price of £180,000, please contact Pittis.

Steeped in history and oozing charm and character this fabulous ground floor apartment is certainly not one to be missed. Set in the heart of Ventnor but tucked away in a quiet corner of the town, this stunning Victorian villa would have once been a grand seaside holiday home but has more recently been split into two self-contained apartments. As you pull up outside and admire the meticulous gardens and ample car parking you will soon notice how quiet it is here and what a fabulous location the property enjoys. The summerhouse overlooking the pond is a tranquil haven for you to enjoy along with the substantial workshop where you could while away the hours creating all sorts of wonderful things.

Inside the spacious property will not disappoint either. The vast lounge with its huge bay window which floods the room with light is bright and airy and the kitchen area has the benefit of its own separate breakfast area. The bedroom is also a good size and has its own separate bathroom with shower. Just a short walk takes you into town or down to the beaches so it is ideal for those searching for the luxury of a second holiday home. With the option to purchase the first floor apartment this opens up a whole range of possibilities to buyers looking for a property with an income or for an elderly relative. It has not been sold for many, many years so do not miss the opportunity to snap up this stunning home before someone else beats you to it.

Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances.

What the Owner says:

This property has been in my family for generations and more recently was owned by my parents. In 1990 it was split into two self-contained apartments with my parents living in this property and me living upstairs. The property retains much of its character and charm and could easily be turned back into a grand Victorian Villa. My dad could easily walk into town which is a reasonably level walk through the car park and loved to sit out by the summerhouse and relax and take in the peace and quiet. I would ideally like to sell both the apartments together to someone who could consider doing holiday or residential letting from them or like me have a property suited for two generations to live under the same roof.
