The Vendor's View - We were looking for the perfect home to start our family in when we came across this ideally located house, with large bedrooms, a spacious garden and plenty of off-road parking. Being set back from the road, the property felt both private and safe, while being within easy reach of the city and a wide choice of schools including Junior, Grammar and Independents.

We really love the beautiful bay windows at the front of the house. They let so much light into the two rooms that they sit in: the play room (formerly a dining room) on the ground floor and the front bedroom on the first floor. Another favourite aspect is the walnut tree in the garden, which provides plenty of shade on a hot, sunny day.

The location is fantastic, from the choice of schools all accessible on foot, to the convenience in relation to the city and transport. The local shops include a Post Office just a 5 minute walk away, and you can easily stroll into Canterbury Centre within 25 minutes. The bus services run very regularly, with bus stop opposite, and it’s great to be able to walk in and get the bus back with your shopping! Canterbury always has plenty going on.

We love the fact that we can catch the high-speed train into London in less than an hour, but also we’re so close to the countryside and the coast too! When working from home, we appreciate the fast internet speed we can get with >70Mbps broadband speed available.

The house has been a great family home as we expected it to be and we will miss everything about it.
