The pasture land extends to the rear and divides into useful enclosures that suit grazing livestock and making hay and total about 13 acres.
With a parking area to the front and extensive parking to the rear the house overlooks the centre of the village and is very deceptive in the space to the rear. The entrance hall leads into the sitting room which has a window to the front and a former fireplace with electric wood-burner inset. A doorway leads to an open plan kitchen and dining area which overlooks the gardens to the rear. The kitchen has an oil-fired Rayburn that runs the heating and hot water with a backup immersion heater to support the hot water. There are a range of free-standing units, electric cooker, a walk-in larder, utility area, all with a tiled floor. The dining area has a window overlooking the gardens and mezzanine first floor sitting room above.

There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, one with an en-suite shower room with walk-in wardrobe and a good-sized family bathroom. There is a separate study and a cloakroom. On the first floor there are two bedrooms and a shower room.

OUTSIDE The gardens are to the rear and are well stocked with a variety of shrubs, raised beds, including vegetable beds, pear, cherry, damson, plum and apple trees. There is a brick paved terrace and sunken seating area, wildlife area, pond and stream. To the rear of the garden the wildlife garden borders a stream and a useful timber building with power and light and a wood burner stove. This makes a fantastic work room or teenagers lounge and is equipped with a built-in single bed. A nearby vintage caravan provides an outside toilet. There is a timber building that provides a workshop and two large multi-purpose gated bays. An adjacent timber barn has two foaling boxes, a tack room and pony stable.

There is also a 3-bay steel portal framed barn providing further parking and storage and would suit a variety of uses. There are some other outbuildings including a pole barn, hay barn and field shelter. There is an enclosed and stockproof orchard and chicken pen and some smaller paddocks adjoining the buildings. The main blocks of pasture land are enclosed by matures hedges and sheep fencing and comprise four fields. A wooded stream divides one of the fields and forms the southern boundary.
