The Story

BRIGHT & BEAUTIFUL
Walking through the entrance door of Gloucester Place gives a great feeling of home and just being able to put some bags down in the hall before you settle down, means that there is more than enough space to move around. With high ceilings and a character feel in each room it gives the apartment a real feeling of space and with the whole apartment letting in so much light, the property is welcoming and offers great scope for further improvement.

Whilst some of the rooms could benefit from some updating and redecoration, the kitchen already has a modern feel and comprises of a contemporary light ash style unit with darker granite effect work surface over. This gives the whole room a modern feel and being just over 18' wide means there is ample room for a table and chairs.

PARKING LOT
Whilst being only half a mile away from the village of Wadhurst, having parking space is always a bonus when it comes to living in or selling a property! Complete with its only allocated space within the residents parking area the property also has the opportunity to reinstate the original parking /driveway and refurbish or reinstate the original garage. Either way this is an attractive asset to any property and it means the property also benefits from a private garden area to the side which could be great for direct access to the front door.

EASY LAYOUT
With a covered porch and direct access from the path / street, approaching the property is both easy and convenient. Once inside the entire accommodation is laid out over the ground floor and flows beautifully. From the entrance hall all of the rooms can be accessed separately, and with no small rooms it is deceptively spacious inside. Having two double bedrooms means it accommodates family and guests very well and whilst the property has benefitted from modern double glazing it still offers further scope for improvement.

OUT & ABOUT
Wadhurst is a small market town set in the High Weald, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Its thriving High Street includes, a wholefood co-operative, an ironmonger, hairdresser, beauty shop, bank, library, gift and book shop. Other popular establishments include a delicatessen, a traditional butcher and an art gallery. Local clubs and societies abound, and there's good food to be found in the many traditional and gastro pubs in and around Wadhurst. London Charing Cross and Cannon Street are just over an hour from its mainline station.

The latter also has an affiliated youth and community centre and sports centre. The sports centre is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and is open to the public 7 days a week. In addition, there are independent Catholic preparatory schools in Wadhurst and nearby Mayfield, and grammar schools in Royal Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge.
The centre of Wadhurst is 6 miles south of Tunbridge Wells with its wide selection of shopping, theatres and other leisure facilities.
Bewl Water, the largest area of inland water in the South East of England, is a mile away. This picturesque reservoir is an outstanding venue for outdoor education and activity courses, as well as sailing, fishing and water sports.
