SITUATION The building plots are situated in the village of Wembury, in the South Hams area of South Devon. The city centre of Plymouth is about five miles away and the A38 dual carriageway expressway is about six miles distant.
Wembury is a popular coastal village with its beach, primary school, local shops and other amenities. A public right of way runs along the southern side of the site.

The houses are shown arranged adjacent to each other, to the east of Veasy Park Road, accessed of a spur to that road, with a shared private drive located adjacent to the northern boundary of the site.
Floor plans (forming part of the planning application) show an Entrance Hall, combined Kitchen/Dining/Living Room, Two Bedrooms, Study and Family Bathroom at ground floor level and Two Bedrooms and Family Bathroom at first floor level.
Externally, the proposed houses would have chalet-style dormer windows in the southern elevation and a mixture of stone rendered walls under a slate roof. Two car parking spaces for each property.
Full details of the planning consent, together with associated documents, can be seen on South Hams District Council's website (application reference number 4088/16/FUL).
