Location - is perfect. In a quiet courtyard 4 minutes from Shadwell DLR and Overground stations (5 minute DLR to Bank, 10 minutes to Canary Wharf). 2 minutes to cycle hire and buses. The cycle superhighway on Cable Street goes in to town. Whitechapel is 10 mins walk, and Crossrail opens there next year. You can be in a bar in Shoreditch in 15 mins, and still come home for a good night's sleep. You can easily walk down to the Thames, and even stroll to the Tower of London in 15 mins (and get in for £1 as a local resident).
Parking – flat comes with its own space.
Heating & Hot Water - are electric, not gas. Very reliable, and cheaper to maintain in our experience. As the flat is well insulated the bills aren't bad either.
Building – the flat is on the 2nd floor. The caretaker is on site most days, and makes sure the building and outside space are well looked-after.
Valuation - is based on other places that have sold in Morton Close in 2016 and 2017. Looking at their sale price per square metre values the flat at £336-£360k, so we feel the asking price of £340k is fair.
