Marsham Manor started life as a pair of farm cottages in the 1600s and was known as Marsham Farm. In 1907 it was bought by Tibbs and Co, a Wembley firm of builders, who brought it up to
date. The renowned architect, Stanley Hamp (who was involved in the design of the Savoy Hotel), designed a corridor across the front of the house, linking the existing wing to a new Arts and Crafts wing. His designs featured in the Studio Yearbook of Decorative Art 1912.
