HOW TO GET THERE TQ9 7UP. Leave Totnes on the A381 Kingsbridge road. Towards the top of the hill turn left, signposted Ashprington and Cornworthy. Continue to Ashprington and turn left at the memorial and Askew Cottage is just after the church, on the left. 

ASHPRINGTON Ashprington is something of a picture postcard village, and one of a handful of South Hams villages regarded as particularly sought after, due to its pretty properties and its close proximity to both Totnes and the River Dart. Totnes, within about 2 miles, is known as an Elizabethan town but has much earlier origins with a castle, a wonderful position on the River Dart and a main line railway station. It has a well regarded community college, full range of shops, a weekly market and a wide choice of cultural facillites. 

THE PROPERTY Standing in a conservation area in what is arguably the Totnes area's most sought after village, Askew Cottage is said to be one of the oldest in Ashprington.
