Full description

Tenure: Freehold

This attractive cottage is situated in one of Sussex's unspoilt coastlines, a small rural community set just a few miles south of Arundel, with excellent road and rail links.

The living room is lovely and bright, having a superb position overlooking the rear garden, with an impressive log burner, it's got to be the best room in the house, where family & friends come together. Adjoining is the kitchen, fully fitted, it has lots of storage and preparation space to cater for the biggest family gatherings. The bathroom has a lovely roll top bath to relax and unwind in, but don't worry there is also a shower, not forgetting the separate W.C.

You have two impressive double bedrooms and a separate dining room, which in the past has also been used as an additional bedroom.

The spiral staircase leads up to the loft room what can only be described as cavernous, over 28'ft in length this space could be enhanced to create further bedroom and bathroom space (subject to the necessary permissions) with very little work.

Outside you have huge amounts of parking, the driveway leads to the double garage which is situated in the rear garden. Currently used as a workshop with power & lighting.

The gardens have been designed to be low maintenance, with a large degree of privacy it's a perfect place to sit, relax and enjoy the solitude of your surroundings.

What the Owner says:

We came across our home by chance after seeing an advert some 20 years ago, having lived on a private estate we were seeking and idyllic, rural position and the cottage was perfect.

It's been a lovely family home which has enabled us to raise our four children in a quiet, safe environment. Over the years we've modernised and made changes to suit our needs, generally maintaining and keeping our home in good condition.

One of our favourite additions was installing the log burner, it's simply fantastic and warms the whole house.

We've loved living here, but it's now time to downsize.
