The Vendors View - We were first attracted to this wonderful family home almost 50 years ago. Having two young boys, we were looking for spacious rooms and this house fitted the bill perfectly. There was also scope for expansion, which proved useful when my mother came to live with us, and we had an extension in the 1970s comprising a balcony, lounge and bedroom.
Having lived here for so long, it would be near impossible to choose a favourite room, although I have always been particularly fond of the cosy dining room, which holds plenty of lovely memories of family dinners and Christmas time over the years.
This is a lovely, quiet area with wonderful neighbours and friendly community. The house is just a 10-15 minute walk from the town, so easily accessible for all the amenities you could need, but far enough out to enjoy the peace and tranquillity. Broadstairs has several beautiful blue-flag sandy beaches to choose from, and the house is situated just a couple of streets away from the seafront at Stone Bay. You can easily walk to Broadstairs Train Station for services into London, and there is a good bus service in the area for access to nearby towns, as well as really good schools in the area.
We will miss so many things about this house, especially the neighbours and the many wonderful memories we have of our time here with our family over the years.
