The surprising abundance of spacious rooms and their versatility has complemented our dynamic lifestyle, being another enormous asset.

The prospect of raising our family here appealed to us immensely, with very good schools close by and excellent commuter services both locally and into London. Shopping, restaurants, cinemas, theatres, hotels, pubs etc. are all within easy reach at Westgate, Birchington, Canterbury, Westwood Cross and the surrounding area.

Carlton Road West has a stable community and is a friendly neighbourhood. We have loved living opposite the peaceful green space of the golf course on one side and the sea on the other. The wonderful ‘blue-flag’ sandy beach of West Bay is a couple of minutes away with its promenade and all year round cafe.

We will certainly miss our home, being a centre of gravity for many causes, occasions and celebrations throughout our years here, especially Christmas. We will also miss the things we have come to take for granted of which there are many; the parking, the privacy, the peacefulness to name but a few.
