End of terrace house with stunning sea views, four bedrooms and a paved garden close to the beach in the coastal village of Elie

St Andrews 13 miles, Edinburgh 45 miles, Glasgow 71 miles

10 Sahara Park is located in the popular seaside holiday destination of Elie and Earlsferry on the south coast of Fife. The house is fortunate to be in a sheltered position set back from the beach yet it still has wonderful views over the Firth of Forth.

Elie is in the East Neuk of Fife famed for its picturesque fishing villages and unspoilt beaches. Elie boasts one of the finest sandy beaches in Scotland. Sailing and other water sports are available at Elie Harbour and there are two golf courses, one the acclaimed 18 hole course and a short 9 hole course suitable for beginners. There are also golf practice facilities, several hard tennis courts and a bowling green. Elie Sports Club offers group and individual coaching in golf and tennis during school holidays. Elie is well served by pubs and cafés including the renowned Ship Inn.
St Andrews, ‘the home of golf‘ and the setting for one of Britain’s oldest universities, is only 14 miles away. There are traditional links golf courses at nearby Crail, Leven and Lundin Links and new courses at Kingsbarns and St Andrews Bay. St Andrews has an excellent selection of shops, restaurants and services to supplement those available in the village.

Sahara Park is a modern development dating from the 1980s. 10 Sahara Park is the westernmost house of the development positioned on Links Place but with a southerly aspect to the beach. It has private parking, garden and sea views.

The house was entirely renovated about four years ago which included the installation of new double glazing, re-wiring, re-plumbing, upgrading of insulation, the extension of the kitchen area and the creation of a second floor master bedroom suite. The result is a beautifully appointed house, finished to an exceptional standard and very much suited to modern living.

The kitchen area incorporates space for dining and informal seating with the spaces neatly divided by a large island. The mellow oak floor contrasts beautifully with the high gloss finish of the fitted kitchen units. There is a comprehensive range of integrated appliances including induction hob, dishwasher and American style fridge freezer. The adjacent utility room houses the Bosch double oven and additional Siemens self-cleaning oven as well as a tumble dryer and washing machine along with further cupboard space. The comfortable sitting room can be divided from the kitchen by double pocket doors. A hall leads to the back door, past a shower room with WC, and a wall of cupboards designed to neatly store items such as coats and golf equipment and house and technology hardware. There is also a useful understair cupboard.

On the first floor there are three nicely proportioned double bedrooms, each with good wardrobe space. The family bathroom has a bath, separate shower, twin wash basins, heated towel rail, bidet and WC, and the Albion pressurised hot water cylinder is stored in a cupboard. The master bedroom is located on the second floor. This has a large dormer window with glass Juliet balcony and a window seat from which to enjoy the lovely views. A deep walk in wardrobe provides further storage space into the eaves of the house. The en suite shower room with WC and twin wash basins has underfloor heating and heated towel rail.

There is a garden extending from the front of the house on Links Place, around past the main entrance to the rear. The garden is almost entirely paved for low maintenance with a number of seating areas to make the most of the sunshine through the day. There is electricity and tap water. Access to the beach is via the Sahara Park courtyard. There is a bike store by the back door of the house.

To the west of the house near the main entrance there is a private parking area in addition to the on street parking adjacent to the house and guest parking within the Sahara Park courtyard.
