The Vendor's View - We chose this property for the excellent central location, it was important for us to have
easy access to the train station-an 8 minute walk and commutable on the high-speed train for work in London. In addition to the local facilities for shopping and the many different restaurants, it made the choice easy.
Another plus was not only the outstanding grammar schools but the excellent primary schools in Broadstairs. Our children were fortunate to grow up in a very safe community and despite moving away from Broadstairs, they still love to visit the house along with their friends.
The short walk to the award-winning beaches along with the stunning walks, safe cycle routes and sailing facilities were also great attractions, which appeal to all generations. With annual events on top of that; be it Folk Week, Dickens Festival or a Food Festival, there is always something to do.
The house was also important, we loved the original features, the cornicing, ceiling roses, high ceilings and all the very large rooms. Having so much space allowed our family to be able to pursue their own hobbies and interests. We also learnt about hosting foreign language students which allowed our children to learn about other cultures and languages.
Selling the house and moving away will be a huge wrench, the children are already sad by the fact that they will not be able to continue to visit their old home in Broadstairs.
