"A room with a View"

When originally purchased, the current Owners breathed new life into this home to cater for the changing needs of their family. They can certainly vouch for the fact that home is where the heart is. The property is adorned with a wealth of memories that grace the walls with photographic insights of past family adventures from around the globe.

A classic 3 bed semi? NO. This property has been extended outwards and upwards in order to create great living space for a growing family. However… 'in the pursuit of happiness' (mainly for the sake of the wider community!) this family choose to move on as the offspring have new interests. The older with Electric Guitar and her younger sibling … the Drums. Thus a detached house is the next logical move.

Currently; a fantastic attic conversion keeps Mum and Dad safe from the riffs of Jimi Hendrix & Cozy Powell but it is only a matter of time before the musicians appreciate that they sound better when the amp is turned up to 11. "The view from the 2nd Floor master bedroom window is worthy of note as I had not fully appreciated just how elevated Wheatfield Road was until I visited and viewed from this unique vantage point".

The Living Room becomes the next sanctuary which is very calm and tastefully appointed.

Other aspects worthy of note: The extension that creates a fabulous Kitchen space, a heated Conservatory, Decking …. and ( my favourite ) just the best little shed for the Spear & Jackson collection in the garden that instantly reminds me of a pre-1920's free standing timber built outside loo. When you see it you will smile inwardly and question how 'that' won the 'favourite' status but it's cute.

One observation is the lack of garage, although there is off road parking at the front for two cars, I dare to question how many vehicle owners actually put their car in a garage nowadays. The potting shed (man cave) at the end of the garden will sufficiently house what the majority squirrel away in a garage. With side access to the rear there is nothing to stop the construction of a workshop to be sited, in the future… as the garden is certainly long enough to warrant a larger structure without impacting on outdoor living. Thus this should not impede your judgement to dismiss and the benefits certainly outweigh this observation.

With an easy wander to Bilton Village Green and its plethora of amenity, Wheatfield Road, Hillfield Road and Plexfield Road, have and will always been very popular. The properties are of a very solid construction and the gardens are great for families by comparison to many new builds within the same price banding.
