Frostenden Corner lies about 3 miles to the north west of the historic coastal town of Southwold which has a High Street which caters for most day to day needs, the town also has a golf club, a unique cinema and library. Frostenden Corner offers easy access to sandy beaches and the East Suffolk Heritage coastline, much of which is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are many walks and cycle rides, and for bird watchers the renowned RSPB santuary at Minsmere, further to the South is the coastal town of Aldeburgh home to the famous music festival. Transport connections can be found at the main A12 London to Great Yarmouth road and there is a railway halt at Brampton (about 5 miles) which offers a regular service (via Ipswich) to London, Liverpool Street.
