Accessible from the kitchen is also the first of two reception rooms. Currently used as a sitting room this room is full of character with exposed wooden beams, oak flooring, exposed stone faced internal walls and a wood burning stove which sits within a stone surround. Accessible from the sitting room is the garden and also the first floor via a staircase which again oozes character. The second reception room has many original features retained, currently used as a drawing room it too benefits from a multi fuel stove which sits within a inglenook, whilst direct access to the garden is also available.
On the first floor there are three bedrooms, two of which are doubles whilst the third is within the eaves and is adjacent to a useful office/storage area. On the first floor there is also the bathroom which is fitted with a panelled bath and a wash basin. There is a separate WC. On the second floor there are two further bedrooms.
Externally there is a generous south facing garden. The garden is a mix of lawn, flower beds and also includes a more mature garden area which adds a great deal of charm to the property and could be utilised to include an orchard and/or a kitchen garden.
Adjacent to the house is a traditional building which is currently used as a "playroom", however subject to the necessary consents it could convert to allow further living accommodation be it an extension to the farmhouse and/or a holiday cottage.
Adjacent to the paddock is a versatile two storey wooden building with a concrete floor, currently used as a double garage with potential for a home office on the top floor.
