Road communication to the ancient cathedral city of Worcester, the birth place of Elgar and the burial site of King John, providing access to the M5. A variety of apple, pear, crab apple and mulberry trees are present, and vegetables are grown in that part of the walled kitchen garden
not laid to lawn. Two fresh water streams feed the ponds, which flow via the monk into the River Rea in the valley below.
To the rear of the house and set in an elevated position, the tennis court and entertaining area is a sun trap enjoyed throughout the summer months.
