*** CHECK OUT THE AERIAL DRONE VIDEO ***
Nested in its own secluded grounds above the picturesque village of Rhydymwyn this versatile four or even five bedroom family home is literally all things to all men (and women). From the young child living out their more outlandish adventures in the safety of their own woods, to the more mature family members relaxing in the serenity offered by the comfortable and luxurious accommodation, overlooking stunning views and covering all age groups in between, this really is something out of the ordinary!

We approach the home via a small private road which accesses this home with just one other next door. Through the perimeter gate, we find to our right, a large double garage and matching double carport with a gabled roof covering the two. The ground rises towards the woods behind this building, giving access to the rear door through which is a storage area the full width of the building. There is the possibility of a loft conversion here but we'd suggest that you take a professional builder along to give you an idea of how possible this is - it would make an excellent annex for a teenager or elderly relative if permission was granted and you had the cash to do it.

Across the drive is the main house itself, served by a further parking area.

We gain access to the home down a set of flagged steps where we find a small outhouse containing the LPG powered Gas condensing boiler and the usual clutter that finds its way into a room such as this. Entering via the front door we find the hallway off which to our left is a beautifully tiled utility room with a lavatory. Continuing to the left is the family bathroom.

This, in keeping with the rest of this lovely home, is in excellent order and comprises as usual a toilet, hand basin and bath with shower over. This shower is fed directly from the mains via the condensing boiler, thus avoiding the feeble dribbles that often issue from electric ones.

Moving clockwise around the home, we now come to the first bedroom. This was originally two rooms, but has been opened up into one large room by the use of an archway to give, in effect a bedroom with dressing area…how very posh :)

This is followed by the second bedroom, with double aspect windows giving charming views over the garden to the front.

Another bedroom sits opposite with a large picture window again overlooking the garden and a door on the wall opposite, which opens up into the stunning ground floor lounge/dining room.

This lovely room offers folding patio doors to the front, opening onto the patio and is as a place to sit and relax alone or with friends and family who'll flock to come and visit..... The centre of the room is given over to the art of dining and provides ample space for a truly decadently sized table, crying out for the large family get-togethers for which this room could have been designed for.

Finally to the far end of the room, the kitchen area is to be found. Though to call it a ‘kitchen area’ hardly does it justice. This is a kitchen of fabulous quality and containing everything the discerning chef could want or need, including a further dining area on the beautiful hardwood topped island, with various wine storage spaces beneath. Above all this, along with generous windows are a series of ceiling mounted ‘Velux’ roof lights which provide an astonishing amount of pure light.

Another door from the kitchen takes us back to the foot of the stairs, from where we access the room that gives this home its unique appeal. We are greeted by a huge picture window taking advantage of the home’s elevation to look down over the extensive lawned garden to the tree line beyond. Although invisible at this time of year, when the foliage begins to die down in the autumn, the river Alyn can be seen gently gurgling its way along the valley bottom.

In the middle of this deceptively big room is a brick built chimney with a large log burner set into one side, making a beautiful and practical centre-piece. On a winter’s evening, all that's missing is Bing Crosby singing ‘White Christmas’, a feeling further accentuated by the dark wood bookcases that line the walls.

Leading off this very special sitting room is the principal bedroom suite. Continuing the theme of dark wood furnishings this is a very cosy bedroom and the en-suite bathroom is luxurious in the extreme. Floored in good quality laminate wood with attractive wall tiles and illuminated via a large Velux, this offers a hand basin, lavatory and an ‘L’ shaped bath with shower over.

This gorgeous home alos benefits from Solar Panels which are owned by British Gas, which gives reduced electricity bills to the owner. There are no feed in tariffs involved.

Finally, we return outside. The front of the home is taken up with a long patio, the sort that simply cries out for a BBQ and is a wonderful venue to eat and drink the evening away while admiring the view. Towards the woods behind the garages is an area of which small boys & girls dream. Small clearings give opportunities to camp out, eat out, play out and generally hide away from the grown-ups which, at their time of life, is exactly as it should be.
