The Vendor's View - We feel our home is a very picturesque place to live. It backs onto fields, the nature and peaceful feeling is like being in our own private oasis – you would not think the main roads are only half a mile away. The travel links are very good, driving out of the area is easy and Margate station is within walking distance.
When we first viewed our home, we knew it was right for us, it is very quirky with unique features. Everyone who lives here looks out for each other, it is welcoming and peaceful. There is so much space here, it is a house built for entertaining, we have hosted up to 70 people! The bedrooms and living areas are all generous sizes.
There are so many things to do where we live. Being surrounded by fields gives us lovely places to go for a walk. There are plenty of places to go out for something to eat or have a drink on our doorstep as well as a little further into Margate, especially in the Old Town.
We are going to miss the peace, tranquillity and privacy of where we live. If you don’t know the area you wouldn’t even know our home existed – having that feeling with everything we need nearby makes it an ideal place to be.
