Location
Broom Hill Road is a great location for many reasons: The A2/M2 are both a really short car drive, you can be on the A2 heading for London in about ten minutes.
For families with small children or dogs then Broom Hill park is a large well kept park a few minutes walk with some excellent views across Medway and the river Medway
The nearest mainline station is Strood less than a mile away, will take around fifteen to twenty minutes on foot (the station has its own car park and further parking is available opposite) Here you can access high speed trains for London and be in the capital in around forty minutes, it also provides services for Maidstone and the Kent Coast.
For potential buyers with a zest for outdoor life, you are (around ten minutes) walk to lovely open countryside and a superb place to explore be it on foot or bicycle.
A superb location for schools with a number of primary schools and a secondary school close by, Gordon Road Primary and Infants Schools are literally a ten to fifteen minute stroll.
The historic City of Rochester with its quaint old High street, fine restaurants, as well as antique shops and tea rooms is round one mile just over Rochester bridge and a real tourist attraction.
Rochester plays host twice a year to the Summer and Christmas Dickens festivals as well as the May sweeps festival
Here the High street and Castle grounds become a hive of activity, an event not to be missed.
Strood Swimming pool and sports complex are around literally at the bottom of the hill and a few minutes walk boasting wide range of indoor and outdoor activities.

Seller’s Comments
This is what the owner has to say....

When we first moved here around 12 years ago what struck us is how quiet and green it is with lots of birdsong and little traffic noise.
Its a lovely friendly area too and helpful neighbours and we will be sad to leave.
Then, just two minutes walk from the house you can be at Broomhill Park or at Tesco Express garage and post box.
The London commuter bus pick-up/drop-off is opposite Tesco Express.
Within 2 minutes drive you are on the bypass for the A2/M2 and within 10 minutes drive you can be at one of three country parks or two woodland parks - let alone the various countryside walks that are so close.
Strood town centre has been undergoing rejuvenation in the
last decade and is good for local shopping - but then you can always pop to
Bluewater, we will be so sorry to leave but we need an extra room.
