General information This attractive semi detached cottage has the most wonderful tranquil location in undulating unspoilt countryside lying just to the north of the village of Boxford, in the scattered community of Edwardstone.

The property has oil fired central heating but will generally benefit from upgrading, redecoration and would be the perfect subject for a sensitive extension.

The property is constructed of solid red brickwork with decorative string courses all arranged under a plain tiled roof with deep overhanging eaves and pantiled rear roof with single storey projects beyond the bathroom with an external brick built outbuilding providing outside storage which could easily lend itself to further accommodation, subject to consent.

The property shares a central four stack chimney with the adjoining cottage.

The setting and style of the cottage is exceptional and offers great scope for further improvement as the property is not listed.

The grounds are a real feature of the property being enclosed by countryside hedging with double gates leading to a shingled parking area and the grounds surround the property on three sides.
There is an attractive entrance porch with decorative fascias leading into the reception hall which provides access to the sitting room which has an open fireplace. From the hall a door also leads into the dining room with stairs to first floor. Running along the rear of the property in a single storey is the kitchen with back door opening onto a larder cupboard and door through to a rear lobby and bathroom.
