Access
The two main access points are just north of the Alswear Bridge (EX36 4LF) and Grilstone Bridge (EX36 4EG).



Directions

Alwear Bridge - From South Molton, head south towards New Rd/B3137, turn right onto the B3137 and follow this road for approx. 2.8 miles until you reach the village of Alswear. Shortly after entering the village, take a sharp right turn and follow the narrow lane til you reach the bridge. The southern end of the rights begin just north of the bridge.

Grilstone Bridge – From South Molton, head towards New Rd/B3137. After 0.2 miles on New road, turn left onto Poltimore Road and continue for half a mile. Turn left on to the B3227 towards Barnstaple. Continue for half a mile and take the first right turn down an unnamed council road. Continue for 1 mile passing Grilstone Farm on the right. There is a lay-by and access to the River by the bridge.
