Gravesend is sought-after by families looking for high-calibre education. As well as a number of private schools, including Gads Hill, Bronte and Cobham Hall, there is the duo of well-respected grammar schools – Gravesend Grammar for Boys and Gravesend Grammar for Girls. The choice of primary schools is extensive and further education is provided in the shape of Northwest Kent College, The University of Greenwich and Mid. Kent College.

Owners Comment
I moved to Portland Avenue some 9 years ago and have really enjoyed living within walking distance of the town centre and being able to travel to London by train in less than half an hour, whilst also having parks, village pubs and restaurants within a few minutes’ drive. Portland Avenue is also close to local schools, shops and amenities.

Apart from the excellent location, I bought this house above others on the market at the time due to its traditional layout, generous bathroom and easy to maintain front and rear gardens.
