The Property

A long hallway opens up before you, with stairs tot he first floor in front of you and wooden flooring beneath your feet. A door to your immediate right leads into the spacious sitting room at the front of the house. A fireplace forms the main centrepiece for the room, currently fitted with an electric fire but could be opened up by the new owner if required. To the end of the hall another door to your right takes you into the kitchen/dining room., which forms the main hub of the living space. This generous and practical space provides ample room for a dining set in front of the open-fireplace which has a Charwood wood-burning stove fitted. The kitchen side of the room is well equipped and makes very good use of the space on offer. Wall and floor mounted units provide plenty of storage and worktop space, where a stainless-steel sink with drainer and electric hob can be found set within. Also integrated with the kitchen is an oven, fridge-freezer and washer-dryer. To one corner of the room is a walk-in pantry cupboard and further cupboard storage can be found to the other side of the fireplace. A wooden stable door gives access to the conservatory, which is UPVC in construction with floor to ceiling windows, bathing the room in light. Taking the stairs up to the first floor you will find a landing space with access to a spacious loft via a hatch and ladder. The bathroom is fitted with a modern white suite consisting of a short-deep bath with shower attachment, toilet, wash basin and corner storage cupboard. The master bedroom is a generous double room to the front of the house, with exposed wooden floorboards and cast iron fireplace creating a strong focal point. Various built-in cupboards also provide handy storage space. The second bedrooms is also a double room and the third is a goos sized single room, each benefitting from a built-in storage cupboard. Both of these rooms look out to the rear aspect, enjoying pleasant views over the fields behind.

Outside
From the main village street the parking area can be accessed, which has room for two vehicles comfortably. A wooden gate opens up into the long front garden, which is enclosed on all sides by established hedgerows, creating a pleasant and secluded spot to enjoy. To the top of the garden is another wooden gate which opens up on to a shared pathway used by the owners of the row. Crossing this path another gate opens into further enclosed gardens to the front and left hand side of the property. A tall fence with secure gate gives access to the rear garden, which is laid to paving slabs for easy maintenance. A brick outbuilding, likely a former out-house and coal store, is now used as garden storage with ample space for bicycles. The rear garden is bordered by high fencing for privacy and to the back boundary another secure gate opens onto another access pathway for residents. Beyond, stunning field views unfold providing a serene backdrop for enjoying the peace.
