On a small cul de sac parallel with one of the minor roads from Mold, this home would be ideal for a first time buyer, a couple with a small child or someone at the other end of the home buying scale, downsizing from a larger family home as the children fly the nest.

A neat and well kept hedge surrounds the small front garden to the left of the driveway and has a path cut through it giving access to a rather lovely and very private area. This is half given over to decking in front of the sliding patio doors to the living room and providing a perfect place to chill out with a glass of something cool while waiting for the BBQ to heat up.

Moving past the home along the drive with its off road parking area we find the enclosed rear garden. This is mainly comprised of gravel but has a raised section covered with child friendly bark chippings, making the inevitable falls less than dramatic. There is also a useful wooden storage shed for the ‘stuff’ that we all accidentally collect.

To the side of the home there are two doors, though the main, I hesitate to call it the ‘front’ door seems rarely used as the ‘back’ door is the one we arrive at first as we enter the drive. This puts us straight into the galley style kitchen with its modern units and feel. This features a tower oven, worktop mounted gas hob and all the fittings that you’d need to be fed.

From here we access the lounge. This is a comfortable size and features a living flame effect electric fire to supplement the gas combi central heating boiler tucked away in the loft space. The floor looks a very high quality wood effect, in fact so good is it that, this could easily be taken for solid wood. There are also large sliding patio doors opening out onto the decked area at the front of the home and providing light and air but with privacy owing to the front hedge.

At the back of the room there is a door through into the hall which, unusually in a home of this type, is easily wide enough to accommodate some useful storage containers and hanging coat racks. To the right of the ‘front’ door is the bathroom containing, predictably enough, a hand basin, lavatory and bath, over which is an electric shower. One wall is taken up by a heated towel rail/radiator, connected to the central heating system.

Back into the hall, next to the bathroom is a large cupboard containing the washing machine and tumble drier, still having sufficient room for all the hoovers, buckets, mops and so on that are always in the way. I half expected this to also house the gas combi boiler but this is in fact situated in the loft as a space saving measure.
