Summary and Brief History
Bought by our clients in May 2007, after seeing an advert stating 'a house with an income by the sea', they relocated by way of a lifestyle change from Shropshire after instantly falling in love with the 17th century Roundhouse Barns and the area. They immediately went to work with a major restoration project where no expense has been spared on the overall quality of particularly the self-catering units. The holiday cottages and B & B are 5 star chic quality and our clients have won an impressive array of awards including Best Self Catering Cottages in Cornwall in 2010 and 2011 and runner up nationally in 2012. Their B & B won gold at the Cornwall Tourism Awards in 2016. Our clients have also retained their Green Tourism Business Scheme Gold Award since 2011. Our clients have created an established letting history where potential still exists since they choose not to have pets and cater mainly for couples. They maximise the income by doing their own...

The Main House
Enter the reception hall and immediately admire the character by it's arched idigbo hardwood doors. The reception hall is 6'8 wide in one area to allow a staircase down to the lower ground floor, if required. Idigbo hardwood doors lead to two well-equipped double bedrooms, both with luxury en suite bathrooms, which our clients have historically let to paying bed and breakfast guests. More recently they use one bedroom as a sitting room for B & B guests. Leading from the reception hall is the main kitchen / breakfast room. This has oak cabinets with granite worktop surfaces including a central island. Appliances include an American style fridge freezer, Mercury Calor Gas range cooker with commercial extraction unit above, further integrated fridge and freezer, Neff dishwasher and a microwave. An arched oak door leads down into a study hall which has a useful utility / wc cloakroom which also houses the solar PV control system. A wide doorway has steps leading...
