“We moved here in 2001 because we fell in love with the place the moment we saw it. It was so well built and looked after that there was nothing we needed to do to it and the fact that we were so near the town, the seafront and local schools and yet the area was so quiet, peaceful and private made it somewhere really special. We actually own the whole access drive in Bromstone Place although the other two properties have a right of way over it. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here and over the years we have upgraded the bathrooms as well as converting the conservatory into a bar – where we spend many a happy evening. The house has been a superb family home as well as a great place for entertaining and we shall really miss it. However the children have all left home and we think it is time to downsize. Broadstairs is a lovely town with a wide variety of individual shops, beaches, bars and restaurants as well as annual events such as Folk Week, the Dickens Festival and the Food Fair. Another advantage of Broadstairs is that it includes some very good schools and the station can whisk you to London on the high speed train within an hour and a half."
