The Vendors View - Living in a country lane in the middle of town and being somewhere we aspired to be while growing up gives us great pride in our home. We are just minutes away from all that we need and the versatility of living here from the surrounding towns and seaside makes it a very enjoyable place to be. The travel links are excellent, with the high speed train to London and buses that take you around and out of the area.
It is difficult to pick just one thing we love about our home – we have an abundance of space, fantastic neighbours and a beautiful location. You can accommodate so many people here from both a family point of view or if you are hosting friends. Our lounge is a wonderful size and we love our large kitchen-diner, they are perfect spaces for being together and socialising, you are never overcrowded. In the warmer months we open onto our patio, the flow from inside to out extends the kitchen-diner to the garden which is another great spot for entertaining, notably the decked area and hot tub.
A short walk takes us to the seafront and then you have the option to pick up the Viking Trial for accessing beautiful routes along the coast from Reculver to the Viking Ship at Cliffsend. The surrounding towns provide so much for entertainment, dining out and shopping – but for us we have one of the best fish and chip shops just around the corner.
We are going to miss the peace and quiet of our home, the size of the rooms and our neighbours. We love this house but are looking forward to what is going to be our final move.
