Around five miles from the Market Place in the middle of the bustling market town of Devizes, Conock is a tiny hamlet with the beautiful and private Conock Manor at its heart. The nearby village of Urchfont around a mile away) runs a community bus into Devizes, Bath and Salisbury and the village has a very popular public house, church and community shop/post office. Devizes is home to a range of supermarkets, independent shops, restaurants and bars, and there is also a cinema, museum and sports centre.
There are excellent sporting opportunities close by from clay pigeon shooting to cricket and riding.
There is schooling for all ages in nearby Devizes, and Dauntseys, Marlborough, St Mary's and St Margaret's at Calne are all accessible by school bus or car.
Conock is ten miles from Pewsey mainline station (London Paddington just over an hour) and is only around half an hour from either the M4 or M3.

Directions:
Leave Devizes on the Nursteed Road, the A342 toward Andover and continue driving for just under five miles. A short while after the left hand turning for Wedhampton is a second turning signed Conock. Turn in here and follow the lane for around 100 yards. Pericles Cottage will be found on the right hand side with parking just in front.
