Property Description

Full description

A stunning, well presented five bedroom detached modern residence situated on an exclusive development off Berkeley Close in Dunkirk, a small village and civil parish around 4 miles from Faversham and 6 miles from Canterbury. The development we believe was completed in 2016 and the property benefits from the remainder of the 10 year NHBC guarantee. Downstairs the property also boasts under floor heating and an integral garage.
The house is approached via a gated, gravel driveway with parking for several vehicles. To the rear is a well-tended, landscaped garden with paved terrace area, lawn and shed. The internal accommodation in brief comprises a hallway with downstairs cloakroom/WC, open plan lounge/dining room with bi-folding doors to the garden, feature vaulted ceiling with skylight windows and opening to the kitchen/dining room. The kitchen is well appointed with granite worktops and integral appliances. There’s a separate utility room with access to the integral garage and garden. Upstairs are five bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master and guest bedrooms both have en-suite facilities.
Boughton and Dunkirk are ideally situated almost equidistant between the historic market town of Faversham and the Cathedral City of Canterbury. Highly popular and with excellent access to the M2 and London, the villages of Boughton and Selling both boast popular primary schools, a selection of pubs and restaurants, village shops and bus stops serving both Faversham and Canterbury. There is also a local fruit & vegetable store and village post office.
From Dunkirk and Boughton there are some lovely walks either deep into the Kent countryside or north towards the coast, and for garden lovers there is an excellent local garden centre.

The Vendor's View - From the moment I first came across this imposing modern property, I knew it would be perfect for our family. Being spacious and beautifully presented, it was also well located, and situated on a corner plot offering privacy. The quiet position and large house offered everything that was needed for everyday family life.
I love the fact that the space is flooded with natural light from the large windows, which reflects off the walls and oak coloured flooring. The fresh spacious rooms, sustainability and low maintenance make this a really easy house to live in. We really enjoy the minimalist design and contemporary feel.
Dunkirk has a nice small-village feeling and we love the community. We enjoy being able to walk to the local shop and have meals in the restaurants. The countryside views and the landscape are stunning, with some truly breath-taking sights. The children really enjoy going to the beautiful Mount Ephraim Gardens where there are regular activities and attractions, along with its good quality tea rooms just a 10-minute walk away.
We have so many happy, wonderful, warm memories of our time here and we have had a lot of pleasure and fun in the house over the years. We will miss the peaceful, comfortable, relaxing and calm feel that this property has provided us with. My family and I have fully enjoyed living here.
