Having recently sold the property on the opposite corner of this quiet cul-de-sac in Mynyndd Isa, NewHome4U are delighted to be able to offer this compact, conveniently sited and well equipped home.

We approach the home up a tarmac driveway with lawns to our left, while the drive continues past the home towards the detached garage with its large car port extending from the front of it.
A single step takes us to the modern PVC ‘front’ door (actually to the side of the home) and into the kitchen. The door itself is of interest, as it is in fact a stable type door, where the upper panel can be opened independently allowing fresh air to enter the kitchen on warm days. The kitchen is quite compact but any disadvantage in this is off-set by the plentiful and deep storage cupboards filling various nooks and crannies. The rest of the kitchen is nicely fitted, with space for washing machine, integrated dish washer, electric oven and hob, everything in fact, necessary to modern life.

Turning left from here brings us to a half glass panelled door leading into the lounge with its large picture window overlooking the garden. This is a comfortably sized room with a feature electric living flame effect fireplace to give the visual warmth that radiators alone can never quite manage.
Adjacent to here is the main bedroom and this is a delight. Large double aspect windows give a panoramic view of the garden and the distant hills in plain sight instil a sense of freedom and light. Again a good sized room with large fitted wardrobes, a double bed and other fairly large pieces of furniture that in no way overpower the space. Were this my own home I would be tempted to use this as the lounge purely because of the windows but that is a matter of taste.

Next along the corridor is the second bedroom. Not quite as big and with a single window this is nevertheless a very comfortable double room and contains a walk in cupboard and a separate set of enormous fitted wardrobes. This is a home where storage will never be an issue…..
Now comes the bathroom. This is unusual in that it features a shortened hip bath, allowing space for the inclusion of a bidet. European sophistication comes to Mynydd Isa! The rest of the room is attractively tiled, with a hand basin and electric shower over the bath. This is obviously the home of an older person, typified by the thoughtfully positioned grab rail for entering and exiting the bath. Next door is a separate lavatory in its own room.

Finally we find the formal dining room. Entered through a semi glazed door as previously seen in the lounge, this is of an adequate size to fill the role of either dining room or secondary sitting room or even a luxurious study. It features two bi-fold louvred doors concealing further storage in one case, and the regularly serviced Worcester combi gas boiler in the other. There is also a large set of sliding aluminium patio doors giving access to the paved area of the garden.

Returning outside and moving towards the garage with its electric roller shutter doors, we pass the car port and the dining room patio door to find ourselves in an interesting paved area, divided up into various sections by low brick dividing walls. The first of these areas contains a clothes lines and a storage shed for garden tools, the starkness of the walls being broken by various plant in large pots adding colour; a theme which continues throughout.

A larger flagged area houses several seats and is an ideal BBQ venue for those long summer evenings, while the star of the show is the summer house. Massively built and offering plenty of room for the inevitable occasions when the BBQ god becomes angry at so much enjoyment going on and decides to throw cold water on the proceedings.

From here we overlook the deceptively large garden, comprising lawn, formal flower beds and several mature trees and continuing around the home, all the way back to the front gate.
