Tenure: Leasehold

There are few holiday homes that will compare to the standard of finish that is offered by this Crosswinds home, but on top of that there are the fantastic facilities that make Whitecliff Bay the Premier Resort on the Island.  Make no bones about it, this is a beautiful holiday home and if it were a conventional bungalow it would be selling for around £250,000.

Situated on the Eastern tip of the Isle of Wight, Whitecliff Bay resort sits above a secluded and sheltered bay, which is protected from the prevailing winds by Bembridge Down and Culver cliff.  The beach itself, is only accessed by foot or boat, making it particularly popular and safe for families, who enjoy the clear waters and countless rock pools at low tide.

Whitecliff Bay has been the subject of considerable investment and development, which has seen the layout of the site change and the facilities such as the huge outdoor pool and clubhouse upgraded.  For the colder times there is an indoor pool with children's pool and water slide.  The resort also offers entertainment in the evenings and also daily events for children during the summer months.

The Crosswinds is a large double lodge and this particular model is sited looking down towards Bembridge airport and across open fields to Bembridge Down and the Yarborough Monument.  It backs on to mature woodland and is positioned in what we would considered to be a quieter, more residential location.

The interior is warmed by gas fired central heating that is provided by an "Ariston" boiler and this also provides the hot water on demand.  There are also UPVC double glazed windows and doors which make the accommodation both bright and airy.

On entering Crosswinds you are greeted by a large, open plan style living room and kitchen, which has splendid views.  Completely furnished with co-ordinated furniture and soft furnishings, there is a vaulted ceiling which helps create an even greater feeling of space.  A peninsular unit divides the bright, modern kitchen area off from the lounge and dining area and is finished in "high gloss" cream units with integrated appliances.

The Crosswinds offers 3 bedrooms.  2 of them are twins and there is a master bedroom with double bedroom, dressing room AND an en-suite shower room/WC.  As with all the rooms, the furniture is both co-ordinated and included within the purchase price.  It includes includes fitted wardrobes, drawers and shelving. There is also a family shower room/WC, whilst at the front of the home and enjoying a southerly aspect, is a large raised decking area for you to enjoy the sunshine and evening sunsets.

It is worth highlighting that this park home can be used in for 12 months of the year, but cannot be occupied as a permanent dwelling.

Open Plan Lounge/Dining Room and Kitchen   6.96m x 5.91m

This really is a truly impressive and bright room that benefits from a large set of sliding, double glazed patio doors that lead out on to the raised decking area.  There is a large, additional window that looks out to the front with views towards Bembridge light airport, Bembridge Down and the Yarborough monument.  2 more windows on either side of the room provide even more light and a feeling of space is given by the high, vaulted ceiling, which has recessed spot lights.  The room has 3 radiators and an attractive fireplace and there is a built-in cloaks cupboard housing an "Ariston" gas fired boiler that supplies the domestic hot water and the central heating.

The kitchen area is divided off with a peninsular unit that has a granite effect worktop with storage cupboards under as well as a larder fridge and separate freezer.  The kitchen is finished with an extensive range of  cream "high gloss" cupboards fitted to both the floor and walls and there is an integrated slimline dishwasher, built-in washing machine and a stainless steel "Belling" gas cooker with double oven and hob and a matching cooker hood over.  In addition, there is a built-in combination microwave oven.
