To the front of the home is a broad drive leading to the link attached garage with a small front garden alongside. This is filled with large shrubs and rhododendrons and kept as low maintenance as possible by the bark covering to prevent weed growth.

A small corner porch opens straight into the ceramic tile floored vestibule and from there, up a step where the original front door was positioned and into the hallway.

Immediately to our right is the lounge. This is a generously proportioned room with a large picture window overlooking the front garden and an imposing white marble and alabaster fireplace. Currently closed off, this could possibly be re-commissioned to allow a heat source of your choice.

Crossing the hall we find the principal bedroom, also overlooking the front garden. Again, this is a generously proportioned room and capitalises on this by featuring a comprehensive set of fitted furniture which maximises the floor space. Whether this is to your taste is another matter, as some may feel it is a little dated but it does however, broaden your options.

Adjacent to here to the rear of the home is the second bedroom. This is of a similar size and thus very comfortable for its purpose and has the added attraction of a large set of wooden French doors opening onto steps, leading in turn to the very pleasant patio which stretches across the full width of the home. From here you look down over the tiered garden with its varied sections, providing a colourful and attractive vista. Beyond the perimeter hedge the view continues over open fields and woods and is a haven of peace and quiet.

Next to this we find the Third bedroom. Smaller than the other two but featuring similar fitted units though fewer of them, this remains a perfectly adequate double room and its window gives pleasant views over the rear garden and surrounding countryside.

Beside here is the kitchen. A square room this large window this is very much of its time. Floored in patterned ceramic tiles it has a full complement of fitted units and cupboards but insufficient space in its current configuration for much more than a cooker, fridge and washing machine. As I said earlier, something of an update is required. The lack of space is further compounded by the large oil fired central heating boiler and its accompanying exhaust flue forming part of the units to the rear of the room.

Lastly we come to the bathroom. Blue ceramic floor tiles give way to white wall tile with occasional patterning but these do give a period feel. The room contains, as expected, a hand basin, lavatory and large enamel bath with electric shower over. Sadly the years have not been kind to the enamelling on the bath and whether this is redeemable remains to be seen. If not it would be a shame as these old enamel baths are becoming rarer and tend to be larger than their modern plastic counterparts, with far more character.

We now move back into the hall where two further doors give access to two separate hanging cupboards for general household storage and coats.
