Do you like the photos?? Well may be you would you like to view this home personally…..the good thing about NewHome4U is, we OPEN 7 DAYS a WEEK and we’re physically in the office 4U just so that you can, ‘’like no other estate agent in Mold’

NewHome4U are delighted for the opportunity to introduce this delightful home exclusively to the market. Tucked away far from the madding crowd and yet within walking distance of the pub and a 10 minute drive from the hotspots of Mold, this really does provide all things to all men (Or women)!

Approaching the home down a long private drive which opens out into a broad turning area, we find an open fronted barn style garage to one side and an attractive gravel area immediately in front of the home.

The semi glazed wooden front door is sheltered by a large overhanging porch with decorative lanterns to each side. The door enters into a small entrance lobby with all the necessary coat hooks to prevent soggy clothing being carried too far inside. The floor is of high quality stone effect ceramic tiles, a theme which continues into the hall and kitchen-dining room.

Immediately to our left is the ground floor bathroom, although ‘bathroom’ scarcely does it justice. A large room with high gloss grey ceramic flooring that catches the eye by reflecting the scene above it. Written down it sounds odd but the effect is beautiful. White tiling continues halfway up the walls and the suite comprises a hand basin, lavatory and a huge spa bath that simply cries out for scented candles, a chilled bottle of Chablis and a good book……this is hedonism at its best.
Moving reluctantly on across the hall we discover the lounge. With its polished wooden floor, enormous bespoke window overlooking the village and cosy open fire with its gorgeous feature bare brick chimney breast, this is a room in which to feel safe and cosseted against the worst that the winter could throw at you. Just how a lounge should make you feel.

Crossing the hall once again we find the study or if you prefer, third bedroom. Here, the wood floor continues into a good sized room with its large window looking out over your land and also open farmland.

At the end of the hall there is a half glazed door leading into what is the actual heart of the home. This is a very large room providing a kitchen, dining room and sitting room together, although that cannot tell the full story. The sitting room is at one end, being big enough to easily accommodate a huge settee, sideboard, occasional tables and a TV, all without blocking access to the sliding patio doors looking out onto the large garden and open fields beyond.

The centre of the room is the dining area with a full sized dining table sitting beside another set of sliding patio doors, these looking out to the patio…..which I suppose, should have been obvious! Should the mood take you for alfresco dining, just step outside and take in the sort of views that large country hotels often boast of but rarely provide…..it’s absolutely stunning and it could be yours!

The kitchen is centered around a large island which provides copious amounts of storage and has an electric hob set into it. The perimeter of the room sports a continuation of the matching wood faced units where we find the fridge-freezer and tower oven. Stepping through the back door there is a small boiler-cum-utility room. This is a bit of a jack of all trades housing as it does, the Worcester oil fired central heating boiler, washing machine, tumble drier and still finding space for a hand basin and lavatory. Allways useful when working in the garden, and there is quite a lot of garden to work in.

Climbing the stairs reveals a neat bathroom straight in front of you, featuring a heated towel rail-radiator, hand basin and lavatory, with a walk in shower cubicle containing a mains fed shower providing reliable water pressure.

There are two bedrooms, one either side of the bathroom and each offering delightful, if very different views. One looks down over the village while the other faces the rolling hills and open farmland beyond the extensive garden. Situated as these rooms are, in the apex of the roof, there are quite enormous storage cupboards beneath the eaves of the roof and accessed through what I can only describe as Hobbit doors. I know it sounds strange but it only adds to the already extensive charm of this delightful home.

Generous garden and paddock, amounting to approximately 5 acres, provide excellent space for young kids to play safely in or an excellent area for horses or sheep or other animals that you may want to keep, there’s even an area of woodland at the far end – perfect for a tree house!

Thoroughly refurbished about 12 years ago and given a whole new lease of life it is still in immaculate condition, standing in a fabulous position with approximately 5 acres of land and offering the convenience of being close to town but with the freedom afforded by being in open countryside.
