The local area around Larches Lane has so much to offer both couples and family alike with the wide open spaces of Ashton Park literally a short stroll away and Lea Community primary school at the end of the road with Ashton Community Science College is also in walking distance. Also nearby you can find a newsagent/convenience store and a Tesco Express on Blackpool Road as well as local bus routes. A short driving distance past the park will take you to Preston Marina and its  retail park with a Morrisons supermarket, numerous restaurants, cinema complex and fitness centre.
