Forder is located on the fringes of Saltash, yet still within close proximity of local shops. Forder is a short drive from the A38 which is perfect for anyone needing to commute. Saltash itself offers superb road links with its own railway station with direct links to London Paddington. Saltash is a picturesque town that lies just across the River Tamar from Plymouth and is often referred to as the "Gateway to Cornwall". The town centre itself provides many shops and the doctors, dentists, library and leisure centre are all close by. There are four primary schools, a college and secondary school, along with a local health centre, minor injuries hospital and many places of worship. South East Cornwall boasts many waterside villages such as St Germans and Cargreen, all within easy commuting distance to Saltash and the city of Plymouth. Saltash is a busy and thriving town, with great transport links into Cornwall and along the A38 corridor. In addition, there is a flourishing sailing community with excellent facilities.
Residents of Forder can apply for dry moorings through Forder Community Assocation. These start from £100 per annum, making this lovely home perfect for any sailing, boating or fishing enthusiasts. In summary I believe many people will be drawn not only to the incredible views that this cottage has but also the lifestyle that the village of Forder offers. It is the perfect haven in which to sit and relax after a busy day with many walks and surrounding countryside literally on the doorstep.
